A Tour of The Haven

Hello, everybody!


I doubt anyone will know me by this name, but you can call me gallivantingAristocrat! This map is a memorial map, but before you download it, I’ve got a story to tell you.


Way back in 2017, I had a friend by the name of Scarlet_Renegade, and she was amazing. We met one another on a server by the name of MC GlassDragon, and became the best of friends soon after. We carved a home for ourselves upon the server, then, and called it “The Haven”. This map marks the first time it will be open to the public.


She passed away that November, just a couple of months later. Her younger brother joined the server from time to time, and so he was the one to tell me. It was a devastating blow, one I’ve yet to truly move on from.


The server itself shut down about a month later, and I managed to get my hands on the world file in the years following. This world is an edited version of that, one that I wired up with commands and function files, to give you a guided tour of the home we built together.


The anniversary of her passing is coming up. I had recently heard of a similar tribute map made for a different game, and I had some free time, so I figured it would be a good time to make this tribute.


My only two requests are that you keep your render distance at 12 or below (It gets rough if you don't), and that you play the map in Singleplayer only (It breaks if you try to do 2 or more players).
